What's new in employment law - Ten issues every employer needs to know
Guest speaker, Simon Maybury, ACAS, South Eastern region
Wednesday 29th April, 2015 7.45am-9.30am, Aubrey Park Hotel, Redbourn, Hertfordshire, AL3 7AF
2015 has already been a busy year for employment law but how do you know what’s ahead and how it will affect your workforce? What about holiday pay, shared parental leave, fit notes and absence management, obesity and disability discrimination, as well as the risks surrounding the use of social media at work to name but a few?
Our “top 10” sessions aim to keep you up to date to help you tackle employment law challenges within your respective roles. We will provide you with some pragmatic and useful tips to take back into the workplace. We will be discussing relevant case studies and sharing knowledge and experience with your peers.
At this session, you will also have the opportunity to hear Simon Maybury, ACAS Senior Adviser/Conciliator express his views on some of the practical issues of ACAS conciliation.
The breakfast will run from 7.45am until 9.30am to enable you to get on with the rest of your working day, but there will be extra time for those who want to learn more or just catch up with colleagues and business acquaintances over a coffee afterwards.
Reserving your place could not be simpler. Just reply to Abi Palmer at marketing@machins.co.uk. If any of your colleagues wish to attend, please also include their email contact details when you respond.
